WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
 
We are looking for volunteers over 18 for more health and social services at your residence. We want to organize an efficient and useful team, a team, which can intervene in moments of crisis at persons with disabilities.
 
VARIOUS DUTIES
We look forward to hearing from everyone who can help in their spare time regarding the services mentioned below.
 
MOST COMMON VOLUNTEER TASKS

1. offering moral support
2. conversation, reading
3. support in personal care and hygiene (manicure, pedicure, hairdressing, dressing/undressing)
4. health care (administration of medicine, kinesiotherapy, massage, etc.)
5. support in taking part in social and cultural activities – if needed, accompanying disabled people to these activities
6. help in maintaining relationship with relatives and friends
7. shopping (from the financial resources of the beneficiary)
8. support in cooking or hot lunch delivery in particular cases
9. support in paying overhead costs (from the financial resources of the beneficiary)
10. adapting the house to the needs of the beneficiary
11. household care (cleaning, washing, etc.)
12. various maintenance services

 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF THE VOLUNTEER

• • Openness to people with disabilities or chronic diseases, empathy, promptness and sociability
  • Calmness and patience
  • Civilized and friendly atitude
  • Decent and clean clothing
  • Abstain from alcohol consumption
